January 2024 If you are interested in running for an HCA Board seat, petition, and applications to run for 2024 election will be available on the HCA website and at the Center upon request. Member Input meeting January 30, during Executive Session, Board will appoint the Nominating Committee.
February 23, 2024 * 5:00 p.m. Petition applicants must have petition in to Harbison (No later than 60th day Community Center office (to Executive Director) with at least 10 before Annual Mtg) signatures of members of the same class eligible to vote in the election of class members for which the applicants are petitioning, by 5:00p.m. *
February 26, 2024 6:00 p.m. Nominating Committee meets to consider potential candidates for election to the HCA Board. Conduct 15-minute interviews with all candidates excluding incumbents. Nominating Committee report submitted to HCA Board.
February 27, 2024 6:00 p.m. Regular Board Meeting, in person (and on zoom) Slate of candidates confirmed by Board.
February 28, 2024 Slate of candidates for April election announced.
March 1, 2024 Voter registration begins and runs until 5:00pm April 15th. To vote for HCA Board members be sure to complete your registration during this 45-day time period in person at the Community Center.
Those HCA members who voted in person or by proxy in the 2023 annual meeting are not required to re-register. Your registration certificate will be mailed to you in April.
March 2024 Candidate information and election timeline/procedures will be shared with members in Election Newsletter, on HCA website, and other outlets as deemed appropriate.
April 9, 2024 6:00 p.m. Candidate Forum will be held in the Harbison Community Center (and on zoom) – residents may meet with and talk to potential HCA Board members. Please come meet the candidates.
April 15, 2024 * 5:00 p.m. Voter registration ends* – You MUST have registered to vote in the April election.
April 30, 2024 Annual Meeting and Election of HCA Board Members
6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Check in – Please bring your registration certificate to receive your ballot(s) and cast your vote.
7:00 p.m. Annual Meeting – Call to order
7:15 p.m. Voting CLOSES No ballots will be accepted after 7:15 p.m.
Election results will be reported at the Annual Meeting Please join us for the Annual Meeting of the HCA Members. Come see and visit with your neighbors from 6-7:00pm, hear the latest community updates and receive the election results. We need your involvement.

Applicants for board seats and registering voters require: assessments (previous and current for 2023) must be up to date on the property and there cannot be open covenant violations on the property you represent or own.
