2017 Board Elections

Four of nine HCA Board Seats will be filled this year. Members serve two year terms and they receive no compensation. They voluntarily contribute their time.

Election Timeline

February 24, 2017 – April 10, 2017 – Voter Registration period. Any Member desiring to vote for one of the 2017 HCA Board of Director – candidates (see list below) must register.  Complete the “Voter Registration Certificate” included in the recent Election Newsletter or contact the Community Center for a copy. The last day to submit the Certificate is April 10th.   Questions – contact Dave Grove at 781-2281.

April 11, 2017 – Candidate’s Forum will be held at the Harbison Community Center so that Residents may meet with and talk to the Candidates  (6:00pm)

April 25, 2017 – Annual Meeting at which time votes will be counted and the new Directors selected. Ballots will begin to be counted at 6:30pm and the Annual Meeting is at 7:00pm.  A Regular Board Meeting will occur following the Annual Meeting at which time the new Board will select Officers for 2017-2018.

Nominating Committee Results

At the February 28, 2017 Board Meeting, the Nominating Committee recommended the following candidates for the four available Board Seats:

Seats “A” (two available): Stan Seabrook and Tom Brower

Seat “B” (one available): Jaime Sellers

Seat “C” (one available): Hank West

Note: All candidates are incumbents.  No additional individuals applied for a board seat.
